The Problem
Every month, school girls in under-served communities resort to the use of alternate materials such as cloth, paper and other items during their menstrual flow.
They miss days of school at a time, held captive at home by their menstrual period. This negatively affects their self-esteem and results in lower concentration at school, ultimately, they fall behind on their school work and drop out of school.
Our Solution
Each month, subscribers will get a period box containing their preferred menstrual products and other curated products.
We'll match every subscriber to a particular school girl and every month a subscriber purchases a box, the school girl will also gets a pack of pads.
This will reduce menstrual hygiene issues, reduce school absences, increase concentration and self-esteem.
Our goal is to end #PeriodCaptivity, one girl at a time.
